Danni I overheard a conversation about this book in roughly spring 2018. The basic premise of the book was that a girl was at a bar and had noticed a man who was giving off a bad vibe. After she leaves the bar she walks to the train/subway station to go home. She hears someone running behind her and starts to become paranoid. As she is about to go down the stairs to the platform she knocks the man who was running after her and he falls down the stairs and appears to be unconscious. The book then shows two scenarios, one where the girl goes to check on the man and one where she leaves him and the consequences that arise from both of these choices. If anyone could help put at all I would be very appreciative. Thank you

Mai | 1280 comments Hi! Searching: novel with two different scenarios "a bar" "the stairs" "unconscious" this book came up:
Anything You Do Say by Gillian McAllister
Joanna is an avoider. So far she has spent her adult life hiding bank statements and changing career aspirations weekly.
But then one night Joanna hears footsteps on the way home. Is she being followed? She is sure it's him; the man from the bar who wouldn't leave her alone. Hearing the steps speed up Joanna turns and pushes with all of her might, sending her pursuer tumbling down the steps and lying motionless on the floor.
Now Joanna has to do the thing she hates most - make a decision. Fight or flight? Truth or lie? Right or wrong?

Sounds interesting! I'm going to add it to my "want to read" folder!
