I am writing an argumentative essay for class and I need reasons that Maximum Ride is better than Percy Jackson, or vice versa.

Personally, I think Percy Jackson series is better for kids. That series teaches the Greek myths and sets things into a modern day scenario. The characters are portrayed as flawed but trying to be good.
The Maximum Ride book I read focuses on survival. It portrays the characters as victims trying to find a place in a world where they should not exist.
The difference in these books is physiology vs. magic -- Evil scientists vs. mythological gods as the bad guys.
