Amazing start Abbie! I have read one book Love That Dog at work as part of a poetry unit, and am stealing a few moments here or there (during lunch) to read the book I chose for me Ethan Frome.

Also, I hope you enjoyed The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit. I read it last summer and thought it was really fascinating. It took a while for that book to let go of my imagination.

I was lucky and had an extra day off at work. And yes The Stranger in the Woofs was very i tersting. Society today always says humans cant be alone...well this guy proved them wrong! I think I could do it for a bit myself, maybe like a month or two, but not the 20 odd years he did it.
The worst part is that he didnt want to re-enter society

Hey guys,

Everyone is going so amazing in working towards their goals. I can’t even explain how proud it makes me to know that I brought this group together and now I can see everyone reading together.

Anyways, I haven’t been reading too much lately just because school and life is hectic as always. Although I am in a reading mood tonight, so I already have my tea and about 4 smaller poetry books. I want to really crack down the next few weeks and make my way through Mount TBR on my bookshelf.

I do know that one of my next reads will be the February book of the month, which happens to be Night Owls by Jenn Bennett. I read this book toward the middle of last year but it will be nice to read it again.

Anyone up for a Valentines Day romance reading challenge?

Hi all,
February has been slow on the reading side : only four graphic novels and three books ... but I finished the long and big one I started reading in January and that was not an easy read (920 pages in paperback and lots of "jump in time" and "switch in narrators" that didn't help the reading speed !)
So I hope I will be able to read more in the near future but not this week as I have tons of appointments for differents things :(

I'm the same. I try to read for about an hour before i go to sleep but it doesn't always happen. as it is I think I have read more books this year already

I was right that contemporaryathon had me breezing through books - some because they were short, but a lot because they were light and fluffy to read.

Hi all,

I've been pretty busy for the last few days so I'm running a bit late to sum up my reading list for February !

It's not too bad but not perfect either (less reading done than last year for example). I've read six novels, one children book and ten comic books and graphic novels.

But I've several books in progress so I'm quite positive for March :) Better be as I'm nowhere near the number of books I should have read according to the challenge !
