Woman is part of a bride program. Leaves Earth and got to choose what planet she wanted to go to. Made a friend on board the spaceship. Is offered a bribe to pick a certain person. When they get to the planet the males stand in a line or semi-circle and wait to be choosen by a female. The women is the last to choose.
Another scene is when the woman gets kidnapped and locked in a cell where she founds the other women that she had made friends with on the spaceship leaving earth. The women assures her friend that even though it's been a long time that her mate/husband will find her and rescue them. But in reality that not true because her mate/husband found out about the bribe and is angry is leaving her to die.
I can't remember if the woman took the bribe or not.
