Looking for a book where the hero i a cop and single dad of a little girl and the heroine is running from her ex and moves in next door to the hero. When she is moving in the is a jerk to her about the moving truck being parted on the curb and he thinks she is a spoiled brat at the beginning. Her friends help her move in later that night something happens an the cops are called and she finds out that her new neighbor is a cop. Later in the book her ex finds out where she is or something and the guy pretends that he and her are dating to get him to back away. Then at one point the guys house gets blown up and she calls for help and he and his daughter ins up moving in with her next door (i think other bad stuff happens) an when the fire investigator finds out that it wasn't an accident he think it is her ex and blames her an thinks because of her is daughter would be in danger and decides to leave to protect her and moves into his parents house for now. Next i remember that he finds out that it wasn't the ex after all but a bad guy that wanted revenge against him and i think ends up going after the girl. That is all i remember can anybody help.
