Yup! It’s an incredibly stupid family joke but it completely embodies my grandfather’s personality and dry wit. His father told it before him and then he would tell people he just met and watch their faces/reactions and just crack up. Now that he’s gone, one of us in the family always posts it on Facebook every year on his birthday and will have us all in stitches.

Yes, we put it on his headstone. We all gathered as a family to decide what to write on our grandparents’ stones because they’re buried together in the big Army cemetery here. That’s what we put for his. Now everyone who walks by and reads it will have to guess at the answer 😂

Actually most of the countries in Africa have some portion bordering a sea. I think there are only between 10-15 that are landlocked. So it's not as daunting as you think. Find your map :)
