Congratulations on finishing your manuscript! I would love to work with you on polishing it up. I charge $3 per 1,000 words for proofreading, which would put your 87k novel at $261, and I offer a free 1,000 word sample edit. We could discuss fees for the additional services you’re looking for as well. I could start anytime, and the turnaround would be about a week.
For more info and testimonials, you can visit my website, www.savageliteraryservices.com, or email me at kjsavage96@gmail.com.

Before I begin, please forgive me as I am not very familiar with the Goodreads platform yet but my editor directed me here and this group seems fairly active for what I am seeking.

Josh,
I would like to discuss your proofreading needs further. I am able to meet your proofreading, formatting, and press release needs. My Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/PolishedPage... and my website is http://www.polishedpagesediting.com/
I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Toni

Have you considered hiring someone to solely format the manuscript and someone to both proofread your book and write the press release? I do not do formatting, but I do proofread, and I assist clients in writing promotional material.
My proofreading rate is $10 per 1,000 words, and we could include writing the press release in the fee. I am also currently offering 25% off to all new clients, and if need be, we could negotiate further re: the fee.
I work closely with my clients, sending them regular queries and updates, because I believe not only editing but also proofreading is a collaborative effort. You need not fear me taking your book and vanishing into the Internet's ether.
My portfolio, which includes seven books I have proofread, can be found at www.heldediting.com/tonys-portfolio If you would like to contact me, my business email is heldediting@gmail.com

Hi Josh!
Congratulations on finishing your book! I'm an experienced proofreader and editor and I'd love to help.
I've been an editor, proofreader (and copywriter) for over 6 years and you can see some of the books I've edited on my site www.wordnerdcopy.com. I've worked with publishers in the UK like Saraband and Sapere Books and Austin Macauley in the US and have worked on a number of sci-fi titles, including Rebecca Ley's 'Sweet Fruit, Sour Land' which won the Not the Booker Prize 2018.
I'm available from the end of March and would be able to provide you with a sample proofread immediately (around 10 pages), after which I can give you an exact timeframe for completion of the proofread. My rates are usually around £5 ($6.60) per 1,000 words - a little higher than some posts here, but you do benefit from my years of experience as a proofreader and my knowledge of the sci-fi genre too (I read a lot of sci-fi as well as editing and proofreading for work).
I can also write you a press release - as a copywriter I've written hundreds of these for both author and clients over the past 6 years. This would be included in the proofreading rate I'm offering.
Look forward to hearing from you if you'd like to go ahead with a sample proofread. You can reach me at hello@wordnerdcopy.com
Best wishes,
Paula
Before I begin, please forgive me as I am not very familiar with the Goodreads platform yet but my editor directed me here and this group seems fairly active for what I am seeking.
I went two rounds with my editor for my science fiction novel and am to the point now where I would like to find a proofreader. The novel is 87,191 words total and 19 chapters if that matters.
I am seeking someone who can proofread the manuscript, fixing basically proofreading mistakes like typos, mispelled words, etc. In addition to proofreading, I want someone who can format the manuscript in Microsoft Word to upload it both as an ebook and for print publication (it will be self published but I do plan on having hard copies printed as I speak at a number of events and plan to begin making mention of it.) Lastly, I want a proofreader who can also write a press release. This is something that I probably could do as I've written everything else myself like my own front and back cover blurbs, bio, acknowledgements, etc. but I would prefer a professional to assist me with this part.
If this is a project that you are interested in, please respond with your availability, time frame it may take you to complete, rate, and website with books that you have proofread or edited. Before making a choice, I'd like to review a book or two that you've done. I do have open availability without any specific deadlines but please no later than a start date at end of May. I look forward to working with someone from this site soon. Also, any advice will be helpful as this is my first novel and first time going through self publishing. I found my editor via a simple good search but really want a second pair of fresh eyes to assist with the proofread.
