What happened to the letters Dobby intercepts from Harry?

Dobby intercepts the letters that Ron and Hermione send to Harry. We are never told what happens to them. Did he ever read them?

In this book? We don't find out. They aren't mentioned after Dobby leaves Harry holding the cake.
It doesn't say in the book, but im pretty sure harry manege's to get them in the movie and ends up reading them.
Elize, "only tear or secretly nibble" made my day!
I don't think he ever got them. Dobby left after dropping the cake, presumably still in posession of the letters.
Plus, I think Ron asks Harry why he never answered, and Harry didn't say anything pointing to him having read the letters.

In the book we don't find out, in the movie Harry manages to steal them back from Dobby
