Pretty happy with the awards this year, my top votes won for novel, novella, short story, dramatic long, editor short (wish the award recipient for Dozois had a better speech prepared), and series. For art book I had the D&D book first, largely for the nostalgia high it induced, whisking me back to my childhood basement surrounded by various polyhedrons, pencils, and scrap paper. The Earthsea book looks great though too. I really enojyed Jo Walton's Informal History of the Hugos and had that first for related work. For novelette, I found “The Thing About Ghost Stories” to be the most moving, followed closely by “The Last Banquet of Temporal Confections”. All in all, however, very happy with the results and already looking forward to next year.
