It did not seem to have much action.
I liked it, and I'm surprised at how many people hated the end! It wasn't great, but it was okay.

My wife and I discussed the books. We agreed that the first two books would in genreal be enjoyed more by women and that the last book would be enjoyed more by men.

i loved all the hunger games books i plan on reading them again. i think this book got more down to the nitty gritty emotional side of the war.. not much action but still a great read!

But when I asked my brothers which books were their favorite they said they liked the first two more, which was the same as me. :P
I liked the book but I didn't like it as much as I liked The Hunger Games or Catching Fire. I didn't like the ending. Even though I understand that the book it about war and its effects I though it was to bleak and there was not enough hope.

i think mockingjay deserves more applause then harry potter :)i is the individual opinion i guess.
I didn't like it because I thought it defeated the purpose. Katniss volunteers as tribute to keep her sister safe and then Prim dies. Like blown up! Come on! It sent the wrong message to me.
Mockingjay was my favorite... and Allegiant was my favorite... and Champion was my favorite... everyone hates the endings to the trilogies, but I LOVE them!!

And also, Katniss turns into the worst protagonist ever. JUST saying. :)
