Lisa (seabelis) | 580 comments I'm seeing that Sherlock Holmes collections are also each listed as series. This seems incorrect as the stories were initially published in a magazine, then in multiple collections. Why are the collections themselves set up as series? For example The Return of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of previously published stories and yet this is set up as a series: https://www.goodreads.com/series/1127... and is listed as such for Adventure of the Abbbey Grange https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... which has been published alone and in many other collections.

Philip (burnnerman) | 5912 comments I would say it should not be, because they are not a series, but a collection, but I will defer to higher powers.

I see no reason why those should be a separate series from the general Sherlock Holmes series.
