He is set to graduate in three semesters but it may take another 6 months after that for him to finish his TOESL to teach English as a second language. But I am preparing for the time. He is applying to all the positions in Northern Japan, which he will likely get so I am even more excited. It is just beautiful up there. Of course, I only know this from photos but he has been there. Tessa the language is intense!! But I am beginning to pick up some words. I will sneak you guys in my luggage!!!

Hopefully one of these months the culture will be Japan...I can't help relating Japan to Memoirs of a Geisha and Ghibli anime...delicate silk, meek and mysterious women, men obsessed with honor, crazy teenagers dressed like anime characters...and of course everyone is so short!
For some crazy reason, I've always wanted to learn to speak Japanese. Good thing about the Japanese language...it's not tonal, which from what I understand can be very difficult to learn, as the pitch or tone of how you say a word can change it's meaning.
