The House at Tyneford
question
Deja vu while reading?

I have just finished The House at Tyneford and really enjoyed it, but from the beginning felt the strangest sense of dejavu while reading, especially certain scenes and characters. I haven't read it before, or any of this author's other works. I have read many books with a similar setting and enjoyed Downton Abbey, etc. But I just felt very particularly that I had read or seen some of these scenes or characters before. Is there any chance that parts of this book have been used in a screenplay or another book? (I realize it's published under The Novel in the Viola elsewhere, I'm not referring to that.)
I really felt like I could predict much of what was coming in the plot or with particular characters. Not because it wasn't well-written, but more like I'd heard the story before.
Please help if anyone else had the same experience and nailed it down. It's bothering me!!
