General Rules
• The general rules apply which can be found here.

Spell-the-Word
• Two words will be assigned to each team.
• These words must be 'spelt' by reading books starting with the required letter, or books written by authors starting with the required letter.
• The letters must be recorded in order, but can be read anyhow.
• Articles 'The', 'An' and 'A' may be ignored.
• For each book read, the point system as follows applies.

Points System
100-150 pages - 25 points
151-200 pages - 50 points
201-300 pages - 75 points
301-400 pages - 100 points
401-500 pages - 150 points
501-600 pages - 175 points
601-700 pages - 200 points
701-800 pages - 250 points
801-900 pages - 300 points
900+ pages - 350 points

After each word is done: +100 points to the total points

What does this mean?

Oh I forgot to include an example for this.

For instance, if the word is 'Justice', you should spell it out in order. So here, first a book starting with J, then U, then S and so on. You can't read J then I, S, U.

I was wondering... if we use an author's initial as our letter, do we have to continue using author's initials? Or can we go back and forth between using the first letter of the book to the first letter of the authors name?
