I am fascinated by tiny houses, they seem to embody independence and simple living. I suppose because you can't share them with anybody else! Bye bye hubby who leaves the towel on the bathroom floor! Bye bye kids! Of course, realistically, I don't want to be in the position of being able to fit into one.Nice review! I'm definitely going to read this!
There’s a series of books about tiny houses?! I am also in no danger of living in one. I guess it’s an advance on a tent, but that’s not saying much ;) But this does sound quite fun. The parrot is a distinct attraction though I couldn’t see anyone sharing a tiny house with one.
@ShazM - I am way too tied to my 'stuff' - books, needlework stash, jigsaw puzzles and board games, objets and art from my travels. But the design of them ... which is detailed in the books ... fascinates. Maybe one as a She Shed? If I had a yard for a She Shed? Of course, I live in a NYC apartment, which isn't that much bigger!@KateNZ - there are 3 starting with Tiny House on the Road which is on sale today in ebook on Amazon. As for the parrot...how to manage it is thoroughly described in this one! Friends of mine have an African grey, and I thought the author was very true to what that is like.

I believe this is the last of the author's Tiny House books. I really enjoy the detail about the tiny houses, the world of tiny houses, and those for whom it appeals. Clearly this is a world familiar to the author. Not that I can see myself ever 'fitting' into one! My print book collection alone would fill multiple tiny homes, and I am not about to go fully and solely digital!
