J.A. Nelson (goodreadscomjanelson1) | 2 comments Hello all. I've revised my manuscript and will be happy to swap first chapters with another author for beta reading.

The story picks-up where the Hamlet story left off. First-person narrative by Horatio, Hamlet's best friend. No familiarity with Shakespeare needed. The chapter is 19 pp, double-spaced.

If interested, please contact me by direct message, reply to this post with info about how I may contact you, or send me an email at janelsonhtd@gmail.com. Thanks for considering!

J.R. Alcyone | 315 comments I don't have anything to swap currently (just started working on my second novel), but I'd be willing to read your first chapter. I minored in English literature and took a course in Shakespeare. Although that was a long time ago, "Hamlet" was one of the plays we studied.

(If you really want to do a swap, I am happy to send you the first chapter of my published novel.)

J.A. Nelson (goodreadscomjanelson1) | 2 comments Super! I’ll send the chapter to you tomorrow morning. I really appreciate that you reached out. Thank you for your email address.

Would it really be helpful for me to comment on your published chapter? If so, sure—but if you prefer, how about a rain check: I’ll gladly read the first chapter of the novel you’re writing now, when you want the input, whenever that may be.

Evette | 43 comments I don't mind doing a swap for the first ch. I have a early 2000s YA about a girl entering her school's church's hs academy and navigating first love, spirituality, friends, and family.

Debra Schiman | 26 comments I'm happy to swap one of my chapters for yours.

The book is about me travelling with my teddy bear, who I make talk. It is also about the barriers of travel and of society to having Asperger’s Syndrome. The chapter will be one of my trips.

You can reply on here or DM if interested.
