This is a place to make a quick note about your intentions, goals or progress with Pillars of the Earth.

Who has started or plans to start?
What is your progress so far?
What is your goal for completing the book?

Here are some % breakdowns for the parts of the book:
Completed:
Part 1 = 29%
chapter 5 = 34%
Part 2 = 45%
Part 3 = 61 %
Part 4 = 79%
Part 5 = 93%
Part 6 = 100%

I finished part 2 and I'm almost to the half way mark. I don't like spreading a book out too long (my memory is awful), and I like the book too much to keep taking breaks! I've been listening to this book at night, while I read or do other things during the day.

I plan to finish early in February (or in a few days if this snow keeps up)!

I finished it a few days ago, right before I left town for vacation.

Anne ✨ Finds Joy (annefindsjoy) I've only completed Part 1 so far, but I plan to read Part 2 this weekend :) My goal is to read 1 part each week, and finish at the end of February...

Sounds like a good plan. Part one is much longer than the rest, so the rest will go much faster.

I'm glad you're joining us! I loved his spy thrillers when I was young. This is just as thrilling even though it's historical fiction and is much longer. Even the parts about math and arches in cathedrals are interesting. He often has strong female characters, and I always appreciate that.
