My favourite bookshop in the Netherlands is the one in Maastricht, in the Dominicanenkerk. The bookshop is in an old church, and the inside is just gorgeous. Stained glass, a corner to drink coffee, there are even graves in the floor (a bit odd perhaps but I always try not to step on them.. :'D but you can basically walk all over them).The city Maastricht is quite beautiful as well. (I'm personally not a fan of Amsterdam, so I always recommend this place instead)

In the UK, there's a brilliant Waterstones in Bradford that is in an old church! It is genuinely stunning and there's a glorious café, too.
