Why is the book called Old Curiosity Shop?

Carol Does anyone know why the book is called Old Curiosity Shop when the shop is left behind after a few chapters? Did the story change from what Dickens originally planned? (I noticed that he dropped his intended narrator after the first chapter or two.)
