Added a book, but can't edit details now.

I added an edition of Will Durant's The Pleasures of Philosophy few days ago. However, now when I click 'edit details' to add book's description, it says that my permission only allows me to edit metadata. What's wrong? What am I doing incorrectly?

Non-librarian users have a brief window (I believe it's 24 hours) during which they can edit book records they have added.

If you need info added after that, posting in this group with the details to be added is the way to go.
