ABANDONED. Children's Picture book where there’s a hole/ pit/ abyss on the floor of a kid’s bedroom. Read around 2004.

Trying to remember the name of a picture book I read as a little kid - probably around 2004. All I remember is that there was a little kid (I remember it as a girl, but then again I also remember Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh as a girl, so it might not have been) and there was an abyss type hole in the floor of her bedroom. I think it starts out small and gets bigger and bigger until eventually the whole floor is just a bottomless pit. . There MIGHT have been a thing where she wakes up at the end and it was just a dream. It wasn’t intended as a scary book (it was aimed at like kindergarteners) but it made me scared of my bedroom floor for ages.
