The book is about a boy who has no magic in a world where every other person has magic. This is the first novel of what is supposed to be a series. The author is female. The setting is medieval and there is a king. There is a dragon too. The people travel from one place to another through magic doors. The protagonist has a sister who has a spirit guardian who used to be a unraveler of magic. The protagonist supposedly can unravel magic or is a threat to magic. There may or may not be elves and faeries in the novel.
