The End (view spoiler)[So, in the end she did fake her illness. I think there's no one truly good or bad in this book. The best part was the biography, that was very interesting. It wasn't a bad book but it also didn't really feel like a thriller or scary. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I loved it! It was the letter that really sold it to me! Honestly, never expected that! Out of all the possible outcomes! I'm absolutely shocked! I can't imagine how Lowen can just keep that to herself for the rest of her life!!!!
I agree with Lowen's POV being a lot more boring than Verity's biography but i feel like it all just tied together amazingly at the end (hide spoiler)]

I feel bad for Lowen, she just lost her mother, and I don't know how to fell about her being relieved her mom is gone, I can only imagine how much her mom is suffering. So that beginning was a little crazy. Jeremy sounds like a good guy too. It is sad how his children died. (hide spoiler)]

I feel bad for Crew, he seems to love his mom so much. I think Jeremy knows that Verity is a bad mom but maybe not how bad she really is/was. I wonder what really happened to the girls. Yea, I kinda am glad Lowen's secret is that. Verity has plenty of secrets for both of them... Yes I am so invested in this book now.

I did not expect that letter either but I am glad she found it. (view spoiler)[ I don't know what to think of Crew hurting himself! Was Verity telling him to keep her secret no matter what? to the point that he was willing to hurt himself? and the cut on his chin? I feel that killing Verity was a little overkill though. (view spoiler)[Crew needs some serious therapy, I think his hurting himself is his way to cope with keeping this huge secret and losing his sisters. That's at least how I would interpret it. After Verities letter I don't think she would encourage this behaviour if she knew about it. I also think they shouldn't have killed Verity, no matter what she did to the twins. (hide spoiler)]
