We didn't manage to get the last two clues so has anyone got any thoughts on who the murderer could be?

She made some clothes for him as she's a seamstress and in the clothes the needle might have been hidden and pierced his body.

There was six holes (the dead bolts). She could have used her needle skills to previously remove two of the six deadbolts which left the holes in the door. She used the two holes to rig the system to put the deadbolt back in after she did the murder.

She could also have made herself a nurses outfit for a disguise so that she could steal the drugs when visiting her father at the hospital.

The two brothers made it clear they hated each other whereas she appeared conciliatory which made her suspicious. (hide spoiler)]

Mmmm no concrete thoughts. It has to be needle based as this is how it’s administered. He’s out of the room for most of the afternoon could Elaine have gone into his bedroom and left a needle laced with the drug some where he would sit or on something he would pick up - like a letter?

With his weight he's more at risk of diabetes. Do you think she swapped his insulin then when he went to bed after dinner he injected himself but with the poison?

He was on the bed - maybe it was the blood thinner. I can’t think of anything else you would inject related to that.

Second part. One book can be used for two cards.

It makes a little trickier as the two cards have to be in that hand, but as you say, most books for multiple cards. Also less points, so that’s a bad thing with having so many.

It also means we get less points as you don't get any points for a draw 2 card

The rules state you get points for both cards?

Yes you get them for the two cards but if we'd had another number card instead of a draw 2 we would've got another 20 instead of 0

I'm starting a book now that should work for the 7 blue card and the skip...so the draw 2 in hand 12 (I think??)

Turbo twenty three? It's blue but it doesn't fit 7 blue so we can't use it for a blue card

Shoot, I missed that...there is a character that this particular book centers on....Larry Virgil. So that would work for the 7. I'll add him in. He isn't one of the regulars in this series, but he causes the events of the book and is referred to throughout.

I think Tineye only needs to be used if we can't agree it's the color being asked about or if the captains are unsure. I think it looks green.
