Hi, Karen! I hope you have fun here!
ok - word count at this time is 5,038. I want to write for at least an hour a day. Am not setting a word count that has to be met during that time.Have a question. Looks like we don't post our stories here for reading, but if we are needing help we may post some portion of it. Is that correct? I'm struggling with a scene (have been stuck for several months), where my major character is about to have a melt-down and it will lead to a huge change in her life. However, I'm not sure how to make it work. There are several different levels of trauma that she can go through and I'm not sure how bad to make it. She is going to lose her entire current life and go on the run, so I'm thinking pretty traumatic. Is there a way to post some of the ideas I'm thinking of and ask for help?

Well, this is your thread! I think that you can do whatever you want, really. But yes, others have been posting short bits. Or you could leave a link to google.docs or something (but that's kind of complicated, lol). I think the best, though, would be to post a couple of scenes and we can see what we can do to help! :)

I haven’t quite figured out what to put in here yet. I guess I’ll figure it out as I go along. I am writing a science fiction/fantasy book and am enjoying the process. I was doing well with writing for an hour everyday but life got very busy recently and I got out of the habit. Need to make it part of my routine again.
I’ll get my numbers in on my next entry and have a plan for regular writing again then.
