I agree with others. Super easy where any letter could be accepted seems to defy the whole "Alphabet Soup" Challange perspective :D

everyone makes great points about the Easy level wild card. I agree, it is an alphabet challenge, the letter should appear in the title.
okay I have to participate in this one it seems like so much fun, plus I haven't done a challenge like this in a while, and I haven't been on this group in so long. I personally think the rules are fine because I know December will roll around and I'll still have like 10 more letters lol.I might plan what I read for each letter from now, that's okay right?

We can plan in advance, just go along with the year, or whatsoever way you like most.
Just a hint to new participants: if you are doing other challenges in our group or in other groups, joint planning works well! So you read one book and score twice or more!
Very well, then. We agree on the final EASY level rules:1. FOUR wildcards.
2. They can be either "number titled" books or any book that has the letter placed anywhere either in the title or in the author's name.
3. Participant only has to indicate the use of a book as a wildcard by adding "(wildcard)".
Guys, the discussion fo the Alphabet Soup Challenge is finished.I've made the according editing to the project.
We're not starting yet because there are still some issues. But I guess we might start before the planned date, Feb 1st.
Thank you all who contributed with great suggestions!
And we're back for the final discussions for the 2019 reading challenges. As you know, we have already improved significantly some of them based on your feedback and ideas.
I've just started a new discussion thread, specifically for this theme:
Fair counting of books with different numbers of pages
Please have a look there, it is one of the points we need to discuss before we start. Suggestions, ideas, contributions from Jan 14 to January 20.
Hey everyone! Are we starting letter soup challenge? I really want to start organizing my lists, I love this one!

Mariana & Audra,It will be up soon. I corresponded with Marcos and he had gotten busy in real life, so new mod Tori is going to start this one up.
Thanks for your patience!

Sorry that this has been delayed so long. We have not gotten a response from Marcos yet, but Joanna and I decided to open the Alphabet Soup Challenge today.
