Reading it for bookclub and I did like the cover. It also is a TV series now. Fun read. I don't usually read this genre. Four stars.

This cover, and title, drew me right in and it was exactly what I was hoping for...an institution type setting with an eerie past/present storytelling. This is a girls boarding school with a history and a mystery. Told so beautifully that I felt like I was there, then and now, and continue to think about it even after its done. If only Goodreads gave room for more stars...

A Robin Reads (arobinreads) I read The shock of the fall by Nathan Filer for this bingo slot. I absolutely bought this book for the cover, because I didn't know what it was about. Fornutely I enjoyed it and gave it 4 stars.
