Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2326 comments Hi this malformed award has been up for a while & is sorting incorrectly at the start of the alphabetical awards list

The Book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

A bookseller site that says this book won the award in 2001. http://www.tabarcallibres.com/va/shop...

A friend found this article that appears to be about the award http://www.elperiodicodeaqui.com/epda...

Also this book has two awards entered in all caps,(& one uses speech marks) so if there are other winners ever entered they won't sort correctly.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Hopefully someone can help! :)

Not a bookseller, but the publisher :)

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2326 comments Hi the first award has been up in it's malformed state since November. I don't feel confident to correct it so I have deleted it. Hopefully someone will come along who can enter the award correctly in the future.

With the awards from the second book. I have found the Spanish language version of one award, verified that the author won, so I have merged it.

The second award - I have found a second book has won this

https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/...

It is a prestigious award but it sounds like it is won by the publisher rather than the book - & I can't find a list showing the winners to determine this.

Can anyone help?

lethe | 16365 comments The way it is presented, it does look like publishers win the award for specific books in their list: http://ccei-lij.blogspot.com

It also looks like the prize hasn't been awarded since 2015.

In the lists "premios ccei literatura desde 1962" and "premios ccei ilustración desde 1996" (in the right-hand column) only titles are mentioned.

Thanks lethe. I'm just not sure.

Might need a ruling from rivka on this one.

The award may be given to the publisher (rather than the author), but it is for a specific book.

Cool - thanks for clarifying, rivka. I'll merge the two entries.
