“Just ‘cause a thing’s impossible don’t mean it can’t happen.” Mr. Armstrong knows something based on what’s in the photo he bought. I can’t figure out the scam that Mrs. Eaives and Robin are pulling but I think Mr. Armstrong will expose it. Can Daunt convince Rita he can be happy with her and no children or that children with him are worth the pain and risk?

I’m curious to see what the photo was that Mr. Armstrong purchased. Maybe there’s a clue there?

Mr. Armstrong seems to very intelligent and observant. It will be interesting to see what is in the photo.

Lily seems to live a very lonely life. She reminds me of Kya from Where the Crawdads Sing.

Was this the first time that the little girl was referred to as a "changeling"? I found that to be pretty interesting. That Mrs. Eaves must be a real dandy. She and Robin are certainly cooking up something..... Again, I'm left pulling so hard for Henry and Rita! It's my favorite part of the story, although I do really love Mr. Armstrong, too. Lastly.....HELEN! Expecting a baby?! Wow! I'm finally finding it easier to get through the chapters without having to take notes to connect dots!

I believe it is the first time her being a changeling is mentioned. I’m a sucker for a good changeling story and this one is being done so well!
