Resurrection Science question

I broke my neck 13 years ago (bound to a wheelchair now) I only really got into reading as a hobby bout 5 years ago and I thought I'd ask the community for tips on which books are best for passionate environmentalist like myself. If anyone blog's or podcast's and has experience in that you're more than welcome to share your knowledge, after all that's what the reading of the written word truly is, cheers.
