ISBN-13: 978-1524744120

The information on the book page indicates that it has 336 pages, and the Amazon page agrees too(c.f. Link, and a picture for verification too). However, in the book itself, the last page of the story is 338, and the last numbered page is 343.

I have changed the information on the book page to 343.

I wanted to verify this with a more experienced member since most of the sites show 336, which is weird.

Samantha (AK) (samantha_ak) | 77 comments WorldCat and your photos agree on the page count for this ISBN. I think you're good.

Different entities count pages differently. Where exactly 336 came from is anyone's guess.

ETA: in a similar vein, I went ahead and removed "a novel" from the title field, but is "signed edition" valid? Any book can be signed by the author, and I doubt that every copy with this ISBN has a signature?

Oussama Djedidi (oussdje) | 11 comments Thank you for the confirmation, I will use world cat from now on too.
I also found the "A novel" idiosyncratic and redundant, but I said what can you do it is on the cover ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As for the Signed and non signed editions; They apparently have totaly different ISBN numbers, so I think it is better to leave as they are (probably they are a part of a promotional deal).

Emily | 17634 comments In a book I was adding, I put Signed Edition in the Edition field, like "Large Print" or something similar. It is not technically part of the title.

Samantha (AK) (samantha_ak) | 77 comments For future reference, page count rules are in the manual. WorldCat is a good reference, but book-in-hand wins. (Sometimes WorldCat counts book previews, etc.)

"A novel" isn't considered a valid subtitle.

As for the edition information, I dropped that into the edition field for the moment because it definitely doesn't belong in the title, valid or not.

Beat me to it. Yeah, that's the assumption I ended up making, too.

Goodreads policy is to exclude "A Novel" or "A Romance" etc from the title field. Here's the policy:
