Hi Lars and everyone else! Since I'm too lazy to create a new thread, this is going to be my introduction post. I'm Jo, an avid reader and writer of sorts. One of my main 'queer lit' interests at the moment is the American expat community of 1920s Paris.


Actually, the queer expat community I was referring to mostly consisted of lesbian (and bisexual women) writers and artists. Or rather, that's the part of the community I'm interested in.
I'm afraid I don't really know that much about the male 'lost generation' writers of the Left Bank, and as far as I know there were mostly straight ...
Guess the topic says it all. Pretty new to Goodreads (started using it only now) and still trying to sort out how everything works …
I'm from Cologne and only started reading again last year after I didn't find the time/energy for several years. So I'm always up for a good recommendation. Reading pretty much everything, except fantasy/sci fi, maybe. And LGBT lit is always welcome. :)
