SOLVED. Need help remembering a Fantasy book read too long ago. Book has 2 main gods, the Weaver and Destroyer. They get locked away and 8 other gods gain their power in a sense. One god murders another. [s]

I read a book a while ago and i cannot for the life of me remember the name.

I know its fantasy. Book has 2 main gods, the Weaver and Destroyer. They get locked away and 8 other gods gain their power in a sense. One god murders another and in doing so it passes down power even more.

There is also a City of the god. They go in an explore, but you have to leave by nightfall or everything in the city pretty much gets demolished.

I think it involves "Raven" something but i cannot be sure. Raven Saga maybe, but i could be wrong.

Edit: I remember it involves someone or a rank of Empath. They can take powers, but with it they take memories too, and that part effects them the worst.

Any help would be amazing, thank you.
