I participate in many different book clubs, some meet monthly, some quarterly, and some every other month. They are not all face-to-face, some are online. I am having such fun matching these books to all possible prompts for both this challenge as well as ATY. I think it will be fun to see how many prompts I can check off with the book club reads as well as reading some of the books I already own and have been wanting to read in forever! That said, there are several prompts for which I will need to obtain specific books, but those are definitely outside my usual reading comfort zone which is one big reason I decided to join these challenges this year. Plus, I find it just helps keep me excited about reading and I get to interact with so many different and new people through these forums! It's a "win-win" for me! (If I wasn't still working full-time, I would definitely love to read a different book for each prompt!)
Since I tend to read at least 100 books, I don't double challenges. Perhaps, one can take some of their favorite prompts from challenges and make their own. You'll feel more likely to finish via your own creation.
I'm listing some books on my list under multiple headings on the off chance that someone wants to use my list for suggestions, but there will be at least 50 individual titles on my list by the end of 2019.

I haven't got all the categories filled in yet, but you're more than welcome to have a look:

I'm the very last entry (end of page 17).

yes, I double-dip wherever possible, and then some. I remember one book in 2017 that knocked out four prompts at once (Moonglow: Two different time periods; unreliable narrator; travel; character has major disability).
I also replace prompts as needed. No way I'm ever going to read a LitRPG book or a choose-your-own-adventure book; instead, I'll read a book wherein "life imitates art" or an "obscure book by a famous author." So the PopSugar challenge becomes the "Anne Elk challenge" because it is "mine and belongs to me."
My favorite homemade prompt, which I repeat almost every year, is: Look up a book you enjoyed before the age of thirty. Read a different book by the same author -- one you have not read before.

I just read The Kiss Quotient, and if you're looking for a book to hit a bunch of prompts at once (and you're into modern romance novels), this is your book! It's a debut (#25) "own voices" (#42) novel by Helen Hoang (#32 & #35), told from two different POVs (#19), which was recommended by Roxane Gay (#28). One character's family is a huge part of the plot (#31) and it would make a great movie (#4). It was a GoodReads Choice winner last year (#40 - fulfills 2018's prompt #35). And if, like me, you wanted to read it last year (#9), then you get ten prompts ticked with this book!
I'm a one prompt per book person. But I am also retired/disabled and have more time to read. I am an obsessive reader and always have been, even as a child. I could easily read one book a day if I have time and it is a good book. I usually set a goal for 100 a yr, but forget to update my books because I do much more than that. I love that these challenges give a reason to expand my genres. I have read so many good books in categories I would not have chosen. I love to see everyones suggestions!
I do double up on books ACROSS Challenges but not within a challenge. I'm retired and can read a lot. However, the 4 challenges I am doing have 152 prompts (some of them duplicates) and reading 152 different books isn't likely, so I welcome books that can check off a prompt on more than one challenge. Because I do double up from the start, I can end the year finishing up the challenges and having time for that random book calling my name from the library shelf.
Me! I don't read enough to do 1 book per prompt. It's not a competition. There are no prizes, other than maybe loving a book you would never have read except for the prompt. So far I've read 6 books and crossed off 14 prompts. 6 books in a month is almost triple what I normally read, so I don't expect to keep that pace. I have 22 books selected for the 40 prompts. My goals is to read 30 books this year. Keep in mind 1/4 of all Americans don't read a single page of a book in a year. You're doing great! I'm sure you have other priorities in your life! I do, too! Don't ruin reading by making it a chore!
