I'm done!!! I finished today, and just on time with the rate of the serial reader. At points I got way behind, but I caught up in the last week or so.

I'm very happy to have read the entire book. I slogged through the dry bits, but overall I have to say this was an interesting read, quite gripping at points. Very pleased to have read it. Unfortunately I do not own a copy, so it doesn't count as a Mt.TBR here, but I will log it under my Virtual TBR list.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement to read this huge classic masterpiece this year.

Great job, Pamela! I'm still working through it, it's going slower than I anticipated, but I'm at 60%, book II of Part 4. I am enjoying it, though I really wish there weren't so many digressions. Hopefully, by December it will be off my pile.

Natália, keep it going, hang in there. I found a lot of the digressions would come back to play into the story, although not all of it. And there is way too many details, but sometimes there is a payoff for what looks extraneous.
