Other edition as separate book

So I created other edition of the german book
(here).
but then realized it existed under different book(here). What next?
I'd imagine we want to remove the other book (its not rated yet, not sure how to find if someone added to any shelf).

It seems the edition you added has a typing error in the ISBN. The other edition has a valid ISBN. As this moment we can't combine, but when it is working again, we can merge your edition into the other edition.

Also, when adding more than one author, you should use the 'Add new author' link under the author slot, otherwise the book won't link to the right profiles.

Thanks for the answer.
I can't correct the edition I'd added. It tells me "Your permissions will only allow the editing of the metadata". Then it displays "No metadata answers yet". So I am kind of blocked.

People who are not librarians can only edit the books they added for a certain time after adding the book.
