Sunday check-in: Where are you? 2019
Nowhere, unfortunately. Only reading Nin fiction at present.
So, mostly found in dance studios or in between the pages of books...
Thanks for putting the thread up, Peggy. It does feel like Sunday today, doesn't it? I'll be in Washington and Paris whenever I start reading today.
I am on Paragon Walk. I am investigating the rape and murder of a young girl. Everyone on the walk knows it must be someone from outside. The Gentry just don't do that type of thing.
It didn't feel like it was Sunday today. Maybe the New Year's party threw us all off. Nobody has posted their literal location. :)I'm floating down the Seine on a barge, wondering how I'm going to come up with money to buy mooring and food. There was a British narrowboat that I bumped into, and I wondered if Sarah was on it.
I'm also in Chicago where my husband has just decided to run in the election for President of the United States.
Oh, I actually read on a Sunday, then forgot about this thread!I was in Chicago. I was a very old man (100) and spending time a sick 10 year old boy and his best friend.
I was in Kent in 1929 but moved on to a castle in France to finish up my evening. It is a little early for bed for me, but I'm calling it a night here in real life Hillsboro, Oregon.
I was in Uruguay! Back home... It felt good to know the places and things mentioned, and the voice was so familiar.
I forgot too! I was on the Isle of Skye in the mid 19th century.I'm now heading back to England in the midst of the Civil War.
I'm just finishing up in Galway, Ireland. The constant winter rain has been lovely as we are working up to a week of 40C here.
I'm with Margo in Bucks Keep, waiting for Peggy to arrive. I'm also in prison in Toronto. Apparently, I murdered a woman but I have no memory of doing so.
I'm jumping back and forth between Kentucky, USA 28 years ago and Australia current day with a 30 year-old woman who just found out that she may have been abducted when she was 2 years old. I expect to go to France later today where I will jump in time between a young woman that was part of the Alice Network during World War I in 1915 and a young woman looking for her cousin after World War II in 1947.

I will keep my eyes peeled for you O_O
I just arrived in Carnegie in Western Australia with four camels, the camel lady and her dog, Diggity. The town is abandoned.
My trek through Western Australia is over. I'm going back to Russia as soon as I run some errands and stop at my library. One in and one out- hopefully.

I never got to Russia and my library book is in limbo. I'm with Meg and Calvin and Charles Wallace. It is time to go!

Back to those salt mines tomorrow. My adventure with Meg, Charles Wallace and Calvin are over. Maybe I will be around for another reread in fifty years. Maybe my great-grandson will read it to me then.
I'm just heading to the planet Dune. It sounds like a dangerous place to live. I sense betrayal is on the horizon.
I'm in modern day Prague and some strange, slightly creepy things are occurring. Am I being followed?I'm also just heading back to Barcelona and the Cemetery of Forgotten Books. It's been a few years since I was last here. I expect mystery and intrigue will follow.
I spent some time in NYC in a correctional facility this morning but I escaped to the Six Duchies, back with my reading buddies :-)
Kean wrote: "I'm in an ice ring watching speed skaters - love is in the air"I missed you last week, Kean. Welcome to YLTO!
I'm in a penitentiary in Toronto where a young psychiatrist is trying to help me remember the murder I'm charged with.I'm also in Buckkeep with Margo where I think I might be going on a quest.
My eyes are in their way to London to inspect/interact/whatever with the big robot that popped up in regent's Park,My ears help hostage in a house with a bunch of people from all over the globe. I am starting to think we will never leave.
I was in a rural village in China harvesting (do you call it harvesting?) tea. In a little bit, I'll be in disguise in NYC trying out some yummy food and hoping no one recognizes me.
Jayme wrote: "I am heading to a spa in Australia (wish I really was) :)"No you don't. The country is balancing between 35C (95F) and 48C (118F) at the moment. Spas aren't going to do anything to mitigate that (she says at 12.43am as it's too hot to sleep).
