That great?! I adored Daughters of the Grail by her. That's why I bought all other titles I could find of hers. :)
I'll add both of them right now and looking forward to reading them. Thank you!!
Can you pick one more please? Or two actually because I'll add these 2 together on the favourites bingo. :D
Daniel wrote: "Probably The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever by Donaldson. Great series began in 1977."Thank you! I haven't read this one so I'm adding it right now. :))
I saw someone recommended The Day of the Triffids. That one is on my tbr as well, we could do a buddy read if you like :)
There are ten books in total spread out over 37 years. Quite different from most fantasy. It seems you will have a full couple of years with all your Bingo books..😁
I'm nominating two horse-related books because I drove past a lot of horses today and it made me nostalgic, so:1. The Horse Whisperer – been on my shelf for ages, and I still haven't read it haha
2. War Horse – on my tbr list too

Nope. Just 1 year. I plann to read all of them in just one year. And as for the one you recommended here, I'll include only book 1 because it's actually a standalone BINGO.
Isn't there any standalone you love?

Thank you! :) It's about time I read these 2. :D
And how about your all time favourite standalone? Which is that one? So I can add it ro my list. :))
Angela Jr. wrote: "I saw someone recommended The Day of the Triffids. That one is on my tbr as well, we could do a buddy read if you like :)"Of course I'd like to. :)
And thank you for the picks! :)) I'm looking forward to your favourite.
1st - I'm picking Tamsin by Peter S. Beagle. It's also in my TBR. Maybe we can do a buddy read later this year :)
Laura wrote: "Thank you! :) It's about time I read these 2. :DAnd how about your all time favourite standalone? Which is that one? So I can add it ro my list. :))"
ohhh, sorry, I forgot! I think The Song of Achilles might be my favorite, or The Secret History... it's like picking a favorite pet – impossible! :D
2nd - My your all-time favorite standalone is The Last Unicorn also by Beagle. I totally didn't mean to pick two books by him but there you go :)
Narilka wrote: "2nd - My your all-time favorite standalone is The Last Unicorn also by Beagle. I totally didn't mean to pick two books by him but there you go :)"Easy! I've read The Last Unicorn so I'll add Tamsin for you. :) Thank you! Beagle is great.
Did you read Inkeeper's Song? I heard great things about it.
And you still need to pick 2 more from my list as you gave me only your favourite to add. :)
So which ones?

I've not read Innkeeper's Song. I need to obtain a copy. So should I pick an alternate?

Definately that good!! Elizabeth Chadwick is an awesome author, the only book of hers I have ever disliked is The Champion. All the others I have tried have been definate winners
My other nominations are The Last Light of the Sun and Gentle Warrior

Yesss! Great stuff!! Thank you!!
Alrighty! From your list: My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier. I love Rebecca so hope this is just as good.
From me: I absolutely loved The Fold by Peter Clines last year. Great sci fi/thriller with a touch of horror.

I could do april or may for triffids!
I would say Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein. More Scifi than fantasy, but an all time classic!
What a great way to get through your owned books! From your list:
1. Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman - I picked this up on a whim this time last year while on holiday and was pleasantly surprised! At it's heart, this is a story about relationships.
2. The Enchanted Castle by E. Nesbit - A classic childrens story, filled with the power of magic and the profundity of good common sense :-)
Hard to pick an all time favorite stand alone, but I'm going to go with:
3. Kings of the Wild by Nicholas Eames - although technically part of a series, it reads as a stand alone, each book in the series follows a different band of characters. I think this one might already be on your TBR shelf too :-)
I don't know if you've read it already or not. Here are for Standalones!Giles Kristian - Lancelot
Robert McCammon - Boy's Life
John Boyne - A Ladder to the Sky
Petrik wrote: "I don't know if you've read it already or not. Here are for Standalones!Giles Kristian - Lancelot

Thank you Petrik! :) Boy's Life I've already read but I'll add the other 2 to my list.
Could you please also choose 2 from my list? Message no.2. :))
Cloud AtlasA Different Blue
Cold Mountain
Firefly Lane
Pixie and Player
I am being selfish here I want to read first four, so if time allowed I will jump in and read them with you. :D

Thank you Shae!! :)
I'll add them all. They do seem like very light and nice reads. I didn't know Kings of the Wild may be read as a standalone. And I've been wanting to read it for some time now.

War Horse has already been picked Petrik. It's there on the chosen titles list. :) But I didn't get to strike it yet. Sorry!

I'll add all 4 of them sweety! And you owe me one all time favourite also. So which is it?
Lonesome Dove, only because you asked and it's a door stopper too. ;)I think you have already read others.

Oh Dear!! That is a door stopper indeed! But sounds great and I'll add it. :))
I will be reading it sometime this year. Let me know when you plan to read this, perhaps we can read it together? :D

okay. :)
It Ends with Us is one of my all time favourite standalone, its like nothing you've ever read, its also not predictable. And The Longest Ride, I've also watched the movie, love them both, its a story about two couples, one in the 40s, the other contemporary.
