I put some more non-fiction in my list this year, and will be starting the year with one of those books: The Elizabethan World Picture.

I read it a few years ago and it was good -- sort of a slow burn, but wonderful writing and sense of place.

For the first time in 4 years, I had a DNF for January. Vilnius Poker wasn't for me - I felt like I was hopelessly lost in a Dali painting. But I did find another book for Lithuania which I'll try to also read in Feb, The Last Book Smuggler.

It has such high ratings, though, so I must be an outlier. I’m starting over with Lithuania and reading The Last Book Smuggler.
