I still have to finish my Feb book The Bear Whispers to Me - loving it so far- but will head to The Cayman Islands next with The Sea Captain's Wife: A True Story of Love, Race, and War in the Nineteenth Century
I am off to North Korea for March reading the 7th book on my list:A River in Darkness: One Man's Escape from North Korea by Masaji Ishikawa
Just finished my #21 for April:Names for the Sea: Strangers in Iceland by Sarah Moss - 4 stars - My Review
Well, I'm not doing real well this year, but if I get back on track in May, I'll be in Germany with The Women in the Castle
I'm going to Sweden with Jonas Jonasson's The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared

I also went there this year, was on my to read list for a long time. What did you think?
June's number is 24. Remember, you may swap out any books on your list during this month. What will you be reading?
Siiiggghhhh. I'm not doing at all well on this one this year. I never even cracked open April's book, and May's book is similarly languishing unread. (But I still have 10 days!)My June book to ignore is set in Spain, Out of the Flames: The Remarkable Story of a Fearless Scholar, a Fatal Heresy, and One of the Rarest Books in the World.
I am off to Ukraine with Andrey Kurkov's The President's Last Love. This one has been sitting on my bookshelves for close to a decade, so high time that I read it!
Finished my #24 for June:If on a winter's night a traveler by Italo Calvino - completed 6/12/20 - 3 stars - My Review (Italy)
Hi everyone -- no number yet for August and Diane doesn't accept messages so maybe something unforeseen came up for her. I generated a random number between 1-24 and 19 came up -- SHould we just go with # 19 for August and let Diane off the hook? That's what I am planning unless she posts otherwise before Saturday. I love this challenge.
#19 is fine with me - takes me to Liberia with This Child Will Be Great: Memoir of a Remarkable Life by Africa's First Woman President
Okay, so not South Africa; instead, I'll be off to Russia (at least to start) with Nijinsky: A Life of Genius and Madness
Just finished my #23 for August, set in Australia:Only Killers and Thieves by Paul Howarth - 4 stars - My Review
