I'm loving your reviews (and the gifs!). I disagree with you on Thirteen Reasons Why, but it's probably because I read the book in high school, longgggg before the series came out, and I thought the series stretched and changed it needlessly. But... it all depends on when you read the book, I guess lol.
Definitely agree on Red Queen though! How you haven't run through the rest of the series after ending on that cliffhanger, I'll never know. I read it (and the next two) in 2017 before realizing that War Storm didn't come out until May... then had to impatiently wait until then to read the final installment. But I think the series got better as it went on, and you should definitely finish it!

As someone who started reading the series as an 11 year old and basically grew up with the characters, I have to say that I see your point and also you're wrong.
As an adult, books one and two are seriously boring... so I can totally see why you would not be too interested in them. But as an 11 year old... this book was magic. The story (knowing only what I knew from the first book, without more books or movies or merchandise) transported me and changed the way I looked at the world. And the books became wildly popular before the movies came out, so I'm not alone in this.
That being said, because I know you already love the franchise, stick it out through book 3. As Harry gets older, the plots and descriptions get more in-depth and more detailed. Book four is really a turning point in the series, with Voldemort and with the trio's emotional depth, so just stick it out!

WHOA! That was a long read. And when I say long I literally mean that was the longest book I have ever read. There was absolutely zero reason that a book needs to be that long. ZERO! ..."
9. A book from one of the top 5 money making genres (romance/erotica, crime/mystery, religious/inspirational, science fiction/fantasy or horror) Outlander ( I will most likely take a quick detour and finish the series lol)
Hahah...was just looking at your plan and thinking "a Quick Detour....." There is NO quick detour with Diana Gabaldon. She can't stop herself ( although I do love me some Outlander).
Love the reviews, was just stopping in to laugh at your gifs 🤣

I am not a fan of Dr. Seuss in any way. He was a horrible human being and his writing style, although catchy, wa..."
I hated this book, LOL. Read it last year with my girls and still don't understand why its such a popular high school/ college graduation gift. Just , yea what you said, Ugh.
I felt the exact same way about Circe... I didn't really get the hype. The Song of Achilles was so, so, so much better... so have faith!
I found that Achilles had a lot more personality, and the author deviated from the mythology a lot more... plus the battle of Troy is a lot more fun to read about than a woman stuck on an island alone.
I'm reading this one for the children's classic prompt... mostly because it's short and I've read a lot of children's classics.
LOL. I also thought the Gunslinger was pretty weird, but I hung in there and read the second book...which is where shit really went off the rails. I went through a King phase in middle school to early high school and with second Dark Tower book even I was like "NOPE I'm out".

I love your reviews, by the way - always so much fun to read. :)
I felt exactly the same about Girl on the Train, especially since I was thinking it would live up to Gone Girl and it definitely didn't.
Oh my goodness, your review gifs have me laughing out loud-brilliant idea!!
Sarah Addison Allen is soooo good at writing cutesy, light-feeling books that actually have some depth in them. I have loved everything I've read by her, and I usually go for her after I read a particularly heavy novel.
