I think I have decided to do it. Just for fun. I will probably set it for 100, like Emily. I was looking at my shelves and the books I have read are mostly from this year, and a lot of the time I was re-reading. But, I am starting high school this year, so THAT could rock my world.
Right. You will have to give me tips!
I would probably set my gr challenge low just like last year so I wouldn’t be pressured especially now that I’ll be applying for college. And I have to focus in my studies because if I wasnt able to be in the honor roll, they would forbid me to use my phone or buy books

400 for me, but to be fair I read fast and I like manga:)
Just Japanese comics. Like Sailor Moon, Non Non Biyori, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc. Right now I’m fangirling over the Madoka Magica series, it’s SO good!:)
I have a friend that reads manga.
I read one manga book in my life, it was terrible!
Maybe you just read an icky one! I’ve come across some manga I hated and I love quite a few series:)
my goal is 100 books and i so far have read 30 (i'll bump it up more if i reach 100 really quickly)

Lol I was on a major roll all through January but I’ve been slower this month...😂
What kind of genre(s) would you like?:) I’m absolutely obsessed with Madoka Magica right now so I shall immediately recommend that series! I just am not sure what to suggest without knowing what sort of genre you’re looking for.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Hibiki’s Magic
I did find Translucent and Hibiki’s Magic cheap secondhand, so I’m not sure how easy it is to find those. The other series I mentioned should be fairly easy to find.:)
the genres i like is thriller, contemporary (THAT ISN'T HEAVILY FOCUSED ON ROMANCE), danganronpa (it isn't a genre but if u know it you'll get it), murder, fantasy (IF DONE CORRECTLY) and yeahtheres more but these are just the genres that i prefer in graphic novel or manga form
You have a wide range of liked genres there!:) I don’t feel competent to make recs on some of those but for fantasy I’d definitely suggest Fullmetal Alchemist (adventure series with well developed characters) and Madoka Magica (very short magical girl series...but do get past chapter 3-or episode 3 if you watch the anime-before deciding if it’s your thing or not!). You’ve probably heard all about Sailor Moon before so I’m sure you already know if you would like it or not lol.:) Yotsuba&! and Non Non Biyori are slice of life, so if you like contemporary without a bunch of romance I think you’d like those. I’m only on volume 5 of Yona of the Dawn, but so far it’s shaping up to be an excellent fantasy series.
While there are some other series (Like Death Note...) that I know would fit your genre preferences, they are still on my want to read list, so I can’t recommend them. Yet! I’m not going to suggest series I’ve not checked out myself, lol.
Ugh. I'm 6 books behind. Humph.
44 out of 100 books finished. It's showing that I'm 18 books ahead of schedule..

I have to read 4.5 books a week for the rest of the year to reach my goal. Not sure if that's gonna happen.
