I sayed the alphabeth in my head at least 3 times before I wrote something just to make sure I'm right, lol
Sorry :) I was on vacation earlier this month, and before that, none of the books I was reading had cover items that matched the letters you were looking for. I was excited that I could jump back in again :)
oh yay Barb, vacation! hope you had a great time!!
I can take L with light and/or light post using The Notting Hill Mystery by Charles Warren Adams (I’ll link later when I’m on my computer).Next up: M
Rosa wrote: "oh yay Barb, vacation! hope you had a great time!!"We did, Rosa, thanks :) It was really hard to come back home!
I finished my book for K (kids) and was a bit disappointed in how preachy it was. The Parables of Peanuts, by Robert L. Short, finished 4/20 ★★★
Would 'old gate' work for O?
I'll take that Barb....I loved that book! Are you listening to the audio? It's a stellar performance :)
Jan wrote: "I'll take that Barb....I loved that book! Are you listening to the audio? It's a stellar performance :)"I'm glad to hear you loved that book I was just considering listening to it!
My 5 star ratings are getting fewer and fewer as I grow older - I think I'm becoming a book grouch. But The Death of Mrs. Westaway was a solid 5 stars for me - though I think it was the listening experience that solidified it for me.
I finished set 4/J (jaw) but with another book: The Devil in Disguise by Cynthia Eden
I now could do P with paper plane (upper right corner)?
The Happy Brain: The Science of Where Happiness Comes From, and Why by Dean Burnett
(Next would be Q)

Here I am! LOLOne of the next books will be this Before It's Too Late, which I can also use for the seasonal challenge...

Yes, I'm listening to the audio, and I agree, it's very well done. I just started it, but I have to finish soon, as it's the book *I chose for our F2F book group that meets this Friday. Yikes! LOL
Have you read/listened to any of her other books?
Good luck Barb! I listened to In a Dark, Dark Wood. I enjoyed the narration but didn't enjoy the story as much. But I plan on listening to The Woman in Cabin 10 and her new one when it comes out The Turn of the Key.
I finished A-Axe
and I can takeR with Roof (in the circle on the right)
The Reptile Room/Lemony SnicketUp next: S
Ooops, forgot to post that I finished the book for O (old gate): The Death of Mrs. Westaway, by Ruth Ware, finished 4/25/19 ★★★★
Thank goodness, most of the folks in my book group liked it as much as I did. We had a really interesting discussion about all the twists and turns, about secrets and deception and about dysfunctional families :)
finished set 4, P/paper airlplane with The Happy Brain: The Science of Where Happiness Comes From, and Why (4*)
haha! it told me that probably the reason we enjoy chatting and gossiping so much because it's a sort of social grooming, so we don't have actually search our fellow people for lice and stuff, and it just said that there was a study with the touching/money, I'm still a big non-toucher, lol
but it was a very interesting read, and written with a funny voice, with words somebody without a major in neuro-science could understand as well. I hope my library will buy his other book, Idiot Brain: What Your Head Is Really Up To, as well

I'm backing out of it, sorry, but the MC creeps the hell out of me, yikes! but I will read another book with an Undressed Man on it, if that's ok, have several of those, I'll give you a title/cover soon
Sounds good Rosa - let me know what you want to replace it with. Don't want you reading a book with a creepy MC.
I'll go with Steele My Heart by Tatum West
at least with a gay MC I will not have the feministic problems I had with that horrible caveman MC from the other book, lol
