I like these stories because I don't have to concentrate and can read it in the crowdy public transport or just a few lines every day and still remember what it's about, but something that really bothered me with this one was the (view spoiler)[cheating, and this very unhealthy relationship the MC has with his girlfriend through all those book. I really wished the author would have made the MC single or faithful to his partner, because it doesn't even add anything to the storyline (hide spoiler)]

Well...reading the book synopsis it's a wolf since the detective's name means "wolf". But since jackals and wolves look very much alike, if we go strictly by the picture if could be one. So I'm saying "yes".

I finished G for Gown with The Quiet Gentleman by Georgette Heyer. It's a reread - a fun book that I enjoy. But I like The Unknown Ajax better.
