The movie sounds like it is VERY loosely based on this particular book. A few characters and plot elements that were not in this book at all. Has undergone quite a few setbacks from what I've read. Great cast. Will be fun, no matter what. I'll let you know if/when I see it. Set for release on 1/17 as it stands now.

can I change my J from Julia Child to Jewelry with the pearl necklace on this one? Agatha Christie's Marple The Life and Times of Miss Jane Marple by Anne Hart

I was first so excited about As Always, Julia: The Letters of Julia Child and Avis DeVoto: Food, Friendship, and the Making of a Masterpiece but I soon became bored to tears. It was like reading the same letter again and again and again and I really tried but I just can't stomach another 300 pages or so of it.. if the miss marple book wont work, I'll search for something else, just let me know!

message 1028: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 21026 comments It would work Rosa but if you read more than 100 pages of Julia I would consider it done and you can move on.

We are currently looking for T. Let me know :)
