I read Potter in 2015(yup, was living under a rock before hand) and included them as Scottish reads. :) For me, either of the factors you mention count ie writing location (ok abit iffy) and story location (perhaps a stronger factor).

Hm... I've wondered about this. I think they do count, for the reasons you've described. I just googled Rowling and see she's described as an 'Honorary Scot' so that's something :)

Has any one else read this? I started it in the middle of last year and found it tough going, so shelved it until now, and this time I'm completely immersed in it. What are your thoughts?
