Announcement: combine and separate will be temporarily disabled

I hope all our wonderful Goodreads Librarians had a joyous holiday (for those who celebrate), and will soon have a happy New Year!

Due to some site maintenance that will be happening, the combine and separate functions will temporarily be unavailable. This will start the late afternoon of Monday, December 31, and continue until mid-day Thursday, January 3 (all times Pacific).

Combines and merges have been re-enabled.

The last time we turned them on after having them blocked for several days, someone was a tad too excited about combines working again (or many someones, more likely) and overloaded things a bit.

So please try to avoid any major (over 1000 shelvings) combines or merges for a few days, please.
