I have applied to be a librarian multiple times but have never been approved. I have read the manual 4 times. Is there something I should or shouldn't be saying?

Knowing more than one language definitely helps, so if you do, be sure to mention it in your application.

If you know enough that you can detect basic mistakes in Spanish book records, I would definitely mention that in your application :)
