If the seies was published as a box set with ISBN it would be a valid record on Goodreds.It also should then be added to the series page listing, so you would be able to search by the ISBN for this box set.
There is no reason to allow ISBN number for the series listings, because these would be only available for published box sets.

I've got a problem here.
I have this series which have its ISBNs 10 and 13 (which is the bar-code ISBN) and each volume has its individual ISBN 10.
It would be useful if we could add to the series its ISBN so when searching by it (specially when scanning the bar-code) all the volumes of it would return from the search.
