add book to series

I don't know why I can't add this book to the series in which it belongs. I don't understand why Goodreads makes it so difficult for authors to have control of their own accounts. That being said, this book is Book 7 in the O'Connor Brothers Series. I would like to have it added to the series. I would also like to know if there is any way I can do this myself when my other books are published. This is such a useless waste of time for me to have to send a message to get something done that I am perfectly capable of doing myself if Goodreads would allow it.
